Customer feedback is important to any business, but it is critical to Urban Farmer who prides itself on its service. At the end of 2020 we ran an online survey amongst a select group of our customers. The survey focused on the quality of Urban Farmer’s products, the responsiveness of Urban Farmer’s team, and Urban Farmer’s understanding of its clients’ businesses and their specific needs.
We are pleased to report that the feedback was generally very positive, but it did highlight some areas of concern amongst our clients too, specifically surrounding price stability and our lead times for delivery. There was also a resounding call from respondents for our products to be made available more easily through local Urban Farmer outlets. We have taken the recommendations to heart and will use them constructively to ensure the continual improvement of our product and service offering.
Noteworthy to Urban Farmer was the fact that over 40 percent of our customers learnt about us through word-of-mouth, and 100 percent of respondents said that they would recommend Urban Farmer to other producers. These findings support our position to focus our time and resources on our existing clients and to let them do the “selling” for us.
