URBAN FARMER EXPANDS ITS TEAM

Adedayo Orukotan

Adedayo joins Urban Farmer’s newly incorporated Nigerian subsidiary, UFNG Livestock Solutions, as its country manager. Adedayo obtained a B Agric degree from the University of Abeokuta in Nigeria and has worked in the Nigerian feed and livestock industries for over 10 years. Adedayo’s relationship with Urban Farmer already spans five years in the capacity of a customer/distributor so his incorporation into the team will be seamless and his contribution to Urban Farmer’s efforts in the territory will be significant and immediate.

 


Mercy Nampasa

Mercy joins Urban Farmer’s Zambian subsidiary, Isibaya Holdings, as an account manager. Mercy is an animal nutritionist by training and is joining Isibaya while completing her MSc at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. She has previously worked in the Zambian livestock and feed industries and will immediately be able to support Mutinta, Danny and Nthando with delivering an improved level of technical and commercial support to its diverse and growing customer base in Zambia.

 


Joshua Gicheru

Joshua joins Urban Farmer’s Kenyan branch, UFEA Trading, as a technical sales manager. Joshua obtained a BSc degree at Egerton University in Kenya before entering the industry and holding a number of different positions in the Kenyan and Ugandan poultry and feed sectors. He will support Peter and Javan in Kenya to ensure Urban Farmer’s promise to offer an unparalleled customer experience is upheld.

 


Megan Payne

Megan joins the Urban Farmer team in Johannesburg as administrator of the recently adopted Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as offering sales support to the account managers. Megan leaves a teaching career of 10 years to join her brothers, Steven and Michael, in Urban Farmer. Knowing ones customers is important in delivering timely and appropriate solutions.
