South Africa On the 3 rd of December 2024 the team from Urban Farmer South Africa gathered for its final company meeting of the year at its new office in Centurion. The new office situated in the Regency Pavilion within the popular Route 21 Business Park is a result of the company’s decision to amalgamate its Isando and Menlyn teams and to bring all of its employees together under one roof.

The success of this decision was evident in the camaraderie, and competitiveness, during the post-meeting braai hosted at the Irene Farm. The employees were divided into teams to compete for the title of braai-master and to prepare a sumptuous lunch that was later enjoyed by all.

The occasion also offered the opportunity to celebrate a long-service milestone for Craig Hill. Craig started his career 10 years ago at Urban Farmer as a nutritionist and today he serves the company and its customers as its technical manager. “Knowing that the first four employees of Urban Farmer are still working for the company and serving as its current management team is testimony to the culture we are trying to cultivate at Urban Farmer, “ said Steven Payne, Managing Director.
