In March 2025, Urban Farmer hosted its country managers from Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe in Johannesburg, South Africa. Urban Farmer relies on its partners and their local teams to offer transactional and technical support to its customers in these key territories. The Subsidiary Week affords Urban Farmer the opportunity to engage, train and strategize with its partners.  

“Formulating Africa’s growth”, requires that Urban Farmer grows too. This year, as a part of the Subsidiary Week’s program, the country managers had the chance to participate in Urban Farmer’s company meeting where the theme was “Growth”. During the meeting Urban Farmer had a facilitated session where the company explored how its values of Trust, Responsiveness and Integrity inform its culture and internal and external behavior, and how this culture and behavior will ultimately drive its success.  

The week was a great success with participants describing the experience as Inspiring, Informative, Challenging, and Connecting.
