Urban Farmer welcomed Suné Pretorius, Marne Visagie and Richard Bownes to the team. 

Suné joins Urban Farmer as a Commercial Nutritionist. Previously Suné worked for a multi-national premix company for 10 years where she served Urban Farmer as its account manager for the last 6 years. Suné joins Urban Farmer with an in-depth understanding of its business and its customers. She has a strong animal science background and will be responsible for supporting Urban Farmer’s technical team with research, product development and training, as well as servicing its customers as part of Urban Farmer’s team of nutritionists/technical advisors. 

Marne joins Urban Farmer as a Senior Nutritionist. Marne has a strong background in animal nutrition and formulation, particularly in Africa. Prior to joining Urban Farmer Marne worked for the largest feed company in Zambia as an operational nutritionist, and more recently she worked for an international feed additive company as its operations manager for sub-Saharan Africa. Marne will be stationed in Nairobi, Kenya and will be responsible for servicing Urban Farmer’s subsidiaries and customers in East Africa. 

Richard joins Urban Farmer as its Business Development Manager. Richard will serve on the management team of Urban Farmer South Africa and will be responsible for overseeing sales and business development in the company. Prior to joining Urban Farmer, Richard worked for a South African feed additive and preservative company. Richard has over twenty years of experience in sales, marketing and research and development. Richard has a long history with Urban Farmer and an in-depth knowledge of the African markets, its customers and industry stakeholders.
