Urban Farmer appoints young vet in Zambia to support its health and hygiene business.
Urban Farmer is committed to enabling livestock production in Africa and to offering holistic solutions to its clients focused on nutrition, health, hygiene and management.
The demand for its range of health and hygiene products in Zambia, and the need for corresponding technical support, has prompted Urban Farmer to appoint a full-time veterinarian, Dr Mutinta Haachilala.
Dr Haachilala holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Zambia. Prior to joining Urban Farmer she worked as a veterinarian in the commercial livestock sector in Zambia as well as working as a consulting veterinarian for Zambia’s largest farmers’ cooperative.
Dr Haachilala introduces a new level of experience and diversity to Urban Farmer’s existing team. She will ensure that Urban Farmer’s health and hygiene products are readily available in the country and that Urban Farmer’s high levels of client service are maintained.
