Heinrich Lemmer, Richard Bownes, and Adedayo Orukotan successfully completed a Farmers’ Day Road Show in Nigeria from 8–11 September, engaging livestock producers across three key regions. The programme featured informative presentations, beginning with Richard’s overview of Urban Farmer’s macro solutions and the full range of services offered to support efficient feed production. Heinrich followed with a practical session on the fundamentals of animal nutrition, covering raw material evaluation, ration formulation, and the importance of balanced diets for optimal performance.

The first day was held in Shagamu with a group of enthusiastic pig farmers eager to improve feed efficiency and herd productivity. The team then travelled to Lagos, where they met with broiler and layer customers to discuss nutrition strategies tailored to poultry production. The final day took place in Ibadan, attracting a diverse group of potential customers interested in strengthening their on-farm practices.

Overall, the road show was highly successful, well received by all delegates, and an excellent platform to introduce Heinrich to the Nigerian market while reinforcing UFLS’s commitment to producer support.
