I recently listened to a presentation by the late Sir Ken Robinson on finding your element. In the presentation he defines being “in your element” as doing something that you have an aptitude for and doing something that you love. He describes the meeting point of these two things as a place where you feel capable and energized.

At Urban Farmer, we are fifty employees spanning six countries. We all have different areas of expertise ranging from nutrition and animal production to operations and logistics. Our broad range of expertise and the depth of our experience represent our collective aptitude. 

At Urban Farmer, the team share a passion for working in Africa and serving our customers and the greater community. From our inception 15 years ago we have made it our mission to introduce the world’s leading technologies and products to our customers enabling them to produce safe and affordable animal protein in the form of meat, eggs and milk. 

We love what we do, and we strive to do it better everyday. We are in our element.
