On 10 July 2025 Steven Payne, founder and managing director of Urban Farmer, was invited to particpate in the Trouw Mid-Year Sales Congress at Kaya Ibubesi in Pary, South Africa.

Steven had the opportunity to introduce Urban Farmer to the Trouw sales and technical teams and to take them on a Journey from Urban Farmer’s modest beginnings in 2009 to the present business servicing hundreds of customers across 20 different African countries.

Steven stressed Urban Farmer’s vision of supporting the production of animal protein in Africa and highlighted in his presentation how Urban Farmer is ensuring that millions of Africans are receiving their daily animal protein requirements through Urban Farmer’s efforts.
